We love the trend of upcycling and taking an old piece of furniture, or an object, and giving it a new lease of life. There are so many wonderful things that can be done using everyday items and just a little imagination, to transform something old or ordinary, into some beautiful and unusual. Here are some of our favourites.

Love this old Piano, transformed into a statement bookcase. Re-cycled window frames make for a great room divider, without blocking out any light.

Old Tennis Rackets with mirrors instead of strings. A bicycle wheel makes for a striking wall clock.

Wallpaper doesn’t just have to be used on walls. We love this picture sent into us by one of our customers showing how they have used our Turquoise Paisley wallpaper and distressed paint to revamp a plain pine sideboard. Our Promenade wallpaper also looks great on this bedside table.

Do you have a few empty bottles or old hats lying around? Why not transform them into a fantastic new light!

Create more storage or display space using old books as shelves, or add casters and paint old drawers for fantastic under bed storage.

Painting an old chair and re-upholstering the seat pad in a new fabric can give a chair a completely updated look. We love our Rose Honey Bees fabric with this gorgeous, traditional, white chair.
